Author Guidelines

The following guidelines for prospective authors apply:

  1. Each manuscript should begin with 200-250 words abstract of its content.
  2. Articles should be approximately 6000 words long; however, both shorter and longer manuscripts will be considered.
  3. Articles could be based on either conceptual or empirical research findings.
  4. Manuscripts should be submitted for consideration by email attachment; Microsoft Word is preferred.
  5. References should be numbered in the form of APA style in-text citations (Author’s Name, year).
  6. Footnotes are used optionally for additional information, but not for referencing.
  7. Unless otherwise indicated earlier, abbreviations should be avoided. Titles of journals should be written out in full.
  8. The reference follows APA format:
  • Name, Author (2009). This is an example of APA style. New York, NY: St Martin's Press.
  • Ahlstrom, D. (2020). Time for China to Accept It Is No Longer a Developing Country. Retrieved November 19, 2020, from https://asia.nikkei.com/Opinion/Time-for-China-to-accept-it-is-no-longer-a-developing-country

  1. All article manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by qualified academics in the field; this is a process that may take weeks or months.
  2. Manuscripts may be edited for style prior to publication.

Authors should be willing to respond to questions from readers of their articles.
